Eric L. Schmidt, Founder and President

Eric L. Schmidt is the President and Founder of CEBEX Group, which includes industry platform brands such as China Entrepreneurs (CE), China Cleantech Focus (CCF), China Events & Logistics Co. (CELC) and CE Premier as well as two international incubation centers in the CBD of Beijing, China. He started CE in 2003 as an informal resource for entrepreneurs in China and has grown it to become the leading platform for entrepreneurship in China. From 2005 until 2009, he worked with venture capital and private equity investments, as well as helping to incubate start-up companies. Eric co-founded 1 Lacrosse LLC (a sports equipment company) and successfully exited in 2009, as well as Ivy Discovery Institute (an educational services company).

In 2004, sponsored by Nike and Phillips, he organized and traced Marco Polo’s route, cycling 100 days from Beijing to Venice. Eric holds both a M.S. with a focus in Entrepreneurship and a B.S. in Management & Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York. Mr. Schmidt has lived in China since 2002. 

Olivia Jingshu Ji, Founder and Vice President

Olivia Jingshu Ji is one of China’s top female business leaders. She is currently the Founder and Vice President of China Entrepreneurs. Ms. Ji was one of the founding members of Netease (NASDAQ:NTES) and played a key role during its IPO process. After leaving Netease, Ms. Ji founded Culture in China, an interactive innovative multi-media platform. Since 2008, she started to dedicate promoting Entrepreneurship in China, help incubated more than 20 start up companies, in which 2 have already successfully IPO. She has been working with major venture capital and private equity investments internationally, got more than billion founding for varies start up projects. The organization China Entrepreneurs, she founded and is leading now is the most internationally influential organization in entrepreneurship, VC, PE, capital market circle in China.

Previously, he was the Head of the China Venture Capital & Private Equity at DLA Piper, one of the largest law firms in the world.

Rocky graduated from the University of California Berkeley with High Honors and Academic Distinction. He received his law degree, specializing in Business Law, from the University of California Los Angeles.

Richard Robinson is the Co-founder and President of Youlu which is working to redefine social networking on mobile phones.  Richard is also Chairman and Co-founder of venture-backed Kooky Panda which creates socially-connected casual mobile games in their secret underground labs in Beijing.

Richard is an active entrepreneur, advisor and angel investor and thinks that Beijing is one of the best places on the planet to start new businesses.  Over the past 14 years in China he’s been co-founder and CEO of Dada Asia;  co-founder of Shouji Mobile; VP of Int’l for Linktone (NASDAQ:LTON); founder and CEO of MIG which was acquired by Glu Mobile (NASDAQ:GLUU) and a founding executive as VP of Marketing and Sales for renren.com.

Richard is the Co-Founder of the first Beijing Chapter for EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization), the world’s largest community for entrepreneurs (www.eonetwork.org)

Richard received an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in The Netherlands in 1996, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1989. Richard is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
