Tong Li is an investor and serial entrepreneur. Tong is the founder / CEO of several companies, all of them have raised capital from investors in the US, China, Canada, and/or Europe. Tong currently is CEO of 恒知网 (www.hengzhi.cc), a web 2.0 business network for professionals in China. He has also founded 动奇通讯 (Tokiva, www.tokiva.com), and 杰信科技 (Jatheon, www.jatheon.com). Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Tong worked for investment banking firms Merrill Lynch (New York City, USA) and TD Securities (Toronto, Canada). He earned a M.S. degree from MIT (USA) and a B.S. from Nanjing University (China).

Roger C. Peng is a partner in the Business and Finance Group of Hogan & Hartson, resident in the firm’s Beijing office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and complex commercial transactions, with a particular focus on transactions in telecommunications, Internet, media, software, and other technology sectors. He has practiced in New York City before moving to Beijing and has practiced in the Greater China Region since 2000. He has represented both investment funds and company clients in numerous private equity transactions and both acquirers and targets/sellers in various cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

Alan Seem is the Managing Partner of Shearman & Sterling's Beijing office and specializes in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Seem has been involved in the initial public offerings and SEC-registered and Rule 144A/Regulation S securities offerings of many Chinese companies, including the initial public offerings of Giant Interactive, New Oriental Education, Qiao Xing Mobile Communication, Solarfun Power Holdings, Acorn International, Simcere Pharmaceutical Group, China Coal Energy Company Limited, Bank of China Limited and Bank of Communications, China Mobile (Hong Kong) Limited and China Netcom and SMIC. Mr. Seem has lived and worked in China for over 15 years and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. Mr. Alan Seem received a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1991 and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1996.

Kevin focuses on investments in electronic hardware components and systems, as well as clean technologies. Kevin also covers Mainland/Taiwan cross-strait investment opportunities.
Before joining GSR, Kevin was with Grand River Capital Management. Kevin also held senior positions with Nortel, where he managed the GSM product line in China and later the Carrier Networks division in Asia. Before coming to China, Kevin worked at a start up called Phonetic Systems, in Bedford, MA, USA. Kevin holds an MBA in corporate finance from MIT Sloan, and bachelor and master degrees in Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Eric Zabinski is a partner in O'Melveny's Beijing office and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. He has a broad corporate practice that includes mergers and acquisitions; private equity-sponsored transactions; securities offerings; venture capital and other investment transactions; joint ventures and strategic alliances; international and cross-border transactions; and general corporate advisory work for public and private companies in a wide range of industries. Eric has significant experience in the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies in investments, leveraged acquisitions, and other buyouts. Eric also has substantial experience in international transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings throughout the world, with a particular focus on China-based transactions. In 2009, Eric was named to Los Angeles Magazine's Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
