Join Us in New York: Introducing the 2011 China-U.S. M&A Forum

China Entrepreneurs proudly presents the 2ndedition of its M&A Forum Series, the 2011 China-U.S. M&A Forum, to be held on October 19thin New York City, U.S.A.

China, now the second-largest economy in the world, has become a force of nature in the area of outbound M&A in recent years. Deal volumes have surged 30% in 2010 from 2009, representing a total value increase of close to USD 38 billion. So far this year, analysts have reported $15 billion worth of transactions completed by Chinese buyers and, in light of China's growing appetite for natural resources and raw materials, expect no sign of slowdowns in this trend in the years to come.

Attempting to bridge the world's two largest economies, China Entrepreneurs (CE) will host the 2011 China-U.S. M&A Forum this coming October in New York City, U.S.A. The forum will analyze current trends in Chinese cross-border M&A activity, focusing specifically on recent interactions between the U.S. and China. From this standpoint, the forum will move into a discussion of the relevant laws and regulations associated with M&A, proper strategies for building an optimal relationship with a Chinese acquirer, researching a Chinese company's background, and successfully implementing a transaction.
