2010 China RMB Funds Forum
For a long time, venture capital and private equity in Mainland China have been dominated by US dollar funds. Overseas IPOs were once the main exit channel for venture capitalists, however, a new trend has been brewing as RMB funds have witnessed phenomenal returns thanks to the recent launch of SME boards.
The sudden shift of RMB funds from a weak investment to its current status as a hot commodity has placed the classical model of overseas PE on the verge of collapse. Meanwhile, the development and improvement of capital markets (like the launch of the GEM and the implementation of a series of policies by local governments) have led many foreign PE / VC funds to rush to do business with RMB funds in China.
Even with rapid growth, RMB funds are still burdened with their own deficiencies. Going into the future, RMB funds are faced with numerous opportunities and challenges. To help investors understand the trends associated with RMB funds, the 2010 China RMB Fund Forum will give insights into the investment strategies and various kinds of structures available when setting up an RMB equity investment fund in China. Also, it will offer insights into current hot topics like the possibility of conflict between U.S. dollar funds and RMB funds, risk control, exit mechanisms, and management of RMB funds.
In light of this historic market opportunity, we invite you to attend the exclusive RMB Fund Forum, together with the world’s top investors, business elites, government officials and industry leaders. You will not find a better opportunity to discuss, analyze, and predict the trends of the RMB and make full use of its development opportunities.
We hope that the forum will contribute to the development of RMB funds and help build an optimal platform for your business.
